The term LEADER can be expressed as a person who guides a group of people or team towards achieving the target. He is the one who guides others in the right direction without deviating from the mission.
We know that the TEAMWORK has many boons and banes, but rather compared to the bane it is enriched with the boons.
In teams, we can work and accomplish the task easier as it requires the efforts of whole group members. Even one is lacking any skills but there will be someone who is having that. So here comes the title role of a LEADER.
For every squad, it requires an efficient leader or captain, because in a team it includes people with a variety of characteristics, and the chance of having conflicts is high in teamwork. So there needs one who can escort them, solve the obstacle and run the team members in a smooth way.
We have witnessed many great leaders who lead the team and gained success. We Indians can proudly say the name the of that Great Man, FATHER OF OUR NATION, MAHATMA GANDHI who bring back our freedom from the British foe. The one who is with great strength of will and fought for us in the way of Peace, and finally exhibited the mightiness of Indians and Unity in Diversity that we have. Not only Gandhiji, but there are manifold great freedom fighters who worked hard and led the Indians.
Gandhiji followed the Charismatic Leadership, a leader with lots of charisma and energy. That made the whole Indians to Tread on the Heels of his directions. Different leaders follow a different approach, some may be democratic, others may not, some may be sympathetic and friendly etc.
It is not possible to abide by any one method or style of leadership. Because it is according to the situation as there is no constant style to lead a team. For success, leaders should adopt a different way of strategies and approaches. But the quality of leaders should be an Ethical Person, and the decision should be based on his values.
The Great Leaders the world witnessed were MAHATMA GANDHI, NELSON MANDELA, ABRAHAM LINCOLN, GEORGE WASHINGTON, MARTIN LUTHER KING JR etc.
Now the world is going through its worst condition, the Corona Virus which has changed the way of our normal life as well as the business. But here the Leaders should show their intelligence as the success of every business lies upon the decision made by the leader. Now the leader has to bring out the perfect strategy that will help to withstand the present crisis.
The most difficult and challenging task is to manage the uncertainty, and now it’s too hard as we don’t know what will happen in the future as the Corona continuing its worst condition. By now many leaders showed their intelligence by adopting various methods and leading their subordinates in an efficient manner.
As human beings, we are witnessing many LEADERS in our daily life, in our family our father and mother guide us in the right way. Because of that, our family is called as our first School.
Next are our TEACHERS, who Light the Candle in our life in order to remove the darkness from our life and guide us with lots of wisdom and knowledge.
When we are working for an organisation there also, we have a Leader or Boss who will lead us and give instructions to move in the right track.
The last phase is when we turn to an IDEAL leader, where we will be capable of lead a team and bring out success.
The term Leadership is equal to the value of a Diamond that can bring out many successes which value more than a Diamond. In our life, we are led by many leaders and they are not only aiming to lead us in the right way but also to nourish and enrich us with Leadership skills.
To be a leader is an easy one, but to be a leader one can influence others and lead them in the right way, one to be a role model to others is not an easy task. In simple terms to be an ETHICAL LEADER.
SO BE YOURSELF VALUED LIKE A DIAMOND AND BE AN ETHICAL LEADER WHO BRINGS OUT GREAT THINGS THAT IS VALUED MORE THAN A DIAMOND. BE A LEADER ONE PAVE THE WAY TO SUCCESS NOT ONE WHO MAKE HOLES TO DESTROY ONE’s CAREER AND USE OTHERS FOR THEIR PERSONAL BENEFITS. BE ALWAYS ETHICAL.
