“I believe that everything happens for a reason” quoted by Marilyn Monroe is true. All the things just happened in the world have given us a lot to learn and understand. Every event that has been occurred has become either good or bad. Some economies change, some rules change, some lifestyle change and an individual also changes. Changes are most common these days and we need to adapt and need to believe that everything happens for a reason. Some lessons that have been learned by me in the lockdown days are as follows:-

C- Courageous

We all need to have the courage to face the difficulties, for that, we are here in this world, rather than trying for suicide, which does not bring meaning to our life. We are here to live the fullest and not to get afraid and run. See the doctors, nurses, and voluntary people who have come out to serve the people. Their courage cannot be shown but can only be felt. They are brave enough to come front and help the needy. In the same way, we should be courageous enough to lend hand to the desperate and be courageous enough to check on them.

O-Obedience

If you obey all the rules you miss all the fun, doesn’t mean that you need to obey all the things that your fellows say, but differentiate between what is right and wrong. In this COVID period, it is necessary to wash our hands with soap, but it is also a basic manner to follow. Some people don’t even care about hygiene and the use of masks and gloves while traveling. It’s upon us to follow the rules and regulations otherwise we will be in danger. It is better to take preventive measures than cure.

R-Reform

In the pre COVID period, we felt that brands would increase our status but now what do we buy. Basically we do a VED analysis of our day to day needs. We all have reform our need for the basic needs of other statuses. People looked for status and people of the middle-income groups all were treated in the same manner and the same hospital under the same doctors and nurses. It’s high time for us to get reformed.

O-Optimistic

We all say we are positive but when COVID started in china, we weren’t much concerned. We felt that let them deal with it. Slowly when it began to spread across countries we are praying for a vaccine. We started to take life along with COVID.

N-Nurture

We have to set this world for our future generation. There may be outbreaks or pandemics in the future too. We should show our young ones how to deal with it, guide them, and protect them in the right path.

A-Adapt

We are adapting the present scenario very bravely but there are countries who are struggling to adapt. We can help them and encourage them. But one thing I observed that we couldn’t live without burgers, pizzas and we could it adapt to the situation. There are many who learned to cook because they didn’t go out for a meal. There are people who use online platforms for jobs as they lost jobs.

V-Vigilant/Vigorous

It’s really important to be careful and vigilant where we live. Keep a careful watch around us and lockdown leads to careful usage of money. If the funds flow, you need to make somehow to survive. Chances of robbery may increase, be strong, be safe.

I-Interconnected

It’s not necessary to be interdependent but to be interconnectedness is always important. Know what is happening around us, stay in touch with your neighbours and community, use the government-issued apps because if you fall down you need someone to pick you up and the same way you can lift up the grieved ones.

R-Responsible

This corona period has taught us to be responsible enough to take care of our cost of living, protecting our health, and many more. We should make sure we are well safe and our community is safe.

U-Understand

Understand the need for the hour, travelling, and meeting of friends is not necessary now. Doing online courses and staying home will keep safe.

S-Sociable

As earlier discussed be sociable, help the needy, create awareness and nurture the young ones.

So, everything happens for a reason and it’s in our hands that we should make it or not. Just remember above all there is someone who controls everything and these aren’t in our hands. Just hope, adapt and help adapt and remember these
